Hi guys, Welcome to my channel TheTechGeek. This video is part of the series on Tips and Tricks. Many people asks me how do i remember a long list of passwords. Well, this is the key security question nowadays which is related to another question that is HOW TO MAKE A COMPLEX PASSWORD AND THEN REMEMBER IT. In this video, you will get answers for both questions. Lets Get Started! Many people make passwords related to their life which later on become hackable. Normally people tends to base their passwords on birth date, name of loved, wedding annivarsary or a sentence they say all the time. Hackers identify such information easily and then get into their account. To my surprise, few people use their or their child's birth date for pin of the credit cards. These are easy to hack resulting in data loss. You may have seen password generators while making an account on some websites. However, these give you password something like a G e 3 4 ! C o p @ ) g. This is a complex password but you cannot remember it as it is really hard to remember. To make easy password similar to previous one, you just need a sentence you can easily remember. For example: I engage to jane hack ostwald for 19 years. Now take first or second letter of the sentence to make a complex password I e j h ost 19 yrs This looks like a good password but to make it even more strong, use some letters in upper case Using few upper cases in previous password gives us a stong passwrod like I e J H o s t 1 9 y r s. Now this is a good complex password but in my opinion hackers are still able to see trough it. Therefore, to make it more strong, replace few letters with resembling numbers like I e J 4 o s t 1 9 y r s. You can consider 1 for L or i, 3 for E, 4 for H etc for your reference. Now, it would take a professional hacker to figure out what is your password and doing so is going to cost a lot of time. But we want hackers to loose interest in your password. To do that, add complex character like @ # * in password. So in our case, replacing certain characters with symbols will become extreme complex like ! e J 4 o s t ! 9 y r s Now this is a really complex password and hard to crack but password creator can remember it easily because he is engage to jane hack ostwald for 19 years in reality. This ishow complex passwords can be maintained or you can have multiple passwords and then easily remember them. Still its always a better ideas to keep log of your passwords. You can write full sentences in a book but only you can know where you put numbers or symbols. Pro tip on complex password is that a really complex password has Numbers, Characters , Small caps, Upper Caps and something that password creator can remember it without hassle.
